World Book Day 2019 - posted 7th Mar

Today we have celebrated World Book Day. There has been no dressing up this year as we thought it was important to focus on the books and the pleasure of reading rather than the costumes everyone is wearing. The teaching staff shared their favourite books from their childhood with the children with the staff in Class 1 using props to bring the story alive. Some also completed activities relating to the book they had been read while the children in Class 2 were given the opportunity to relax in comfort and read a book of their own choice.

May (June) Celebrations 2018 - posted 12th Jun

On 8th June 2018, later than anticipated, we enjoyed our May celebrations. The Chair of Governors crowned the May Queen, and, for the first time, the May King. All the children danced around the Maypole and some of the boys from Class 3 performed a sword dance. Top cap it all, the weather was kind to us as it stayed dry and was not too hot. We hope that all parents, families and friends enjoyed the event as much as we did.

Our New Climbing Frame Has Arrived! - posted 19th Feb

During the Half Term holiday we had our new wooden climbing frame installed that we purchased using our Sports Funding. The children have had a great time exploring the climbing frame today. There is now a timetable in place so each class has an opportunity to play on the climbing frame and there are not too many children on it at once. There is always an adult present when the children are climbing.
