London's Burning!

The children in Class 1 have been learning about the Great Fire of London. They have learnt about how the fire started, how it spread so quickly and how it affected people's lives. They built their own period houses and, from a safe distance, then watched how the fire would have spread from house to house. Some children chose not to burn their houses but to take them home.
